Hi, I’m Liz, the founder and owner of Poppin Party Works!

After nearly 16 years with my previous company, I found myself unexpectedly at a crossroads when the company relocated. While leaving a place I had been part of for so long was certainly a big change, it also gave me something I hadn’t had in a very long time—the opportunity to step back and think about what I really wanted to do next.

​

I quickly realized that I wanted to create something of my own—something centered around people, experiences, creativity, and, most importantly, fun.

I’ve always enjoyed working with people and creating positive experiences for customers. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in customer-facing roles, and in my last position especially, I discovered how rewarding it was to make a direct impact and find ways to improve the customer experience. I realized that was exactly the kind of work that energized me—and something I wanted to bring into my own business.

That’s where Poppin Party Works began.

​

As a mom of two young kids, I also have a pretty great source of inspiration right at home. My kids have helped me see firsthand what gets kids excited, what makes them want to play, and what turns an ordinary gathering into something they’ll remember. Their ideas, excitement, and perspective have become a big part of how I think about the experiences I want to create.

​

And I certainly couldn’t be on this journey without the support of my husband. He has encouraged me to pursue this dream, supported my ideas, and has been there through all of the excitement, challenges, and learning that comes with building something from the ground up.

​

I wanted to create more than just a place to rent party supplies or host an event. I envisioned a space where families, friends, and communities could come together, celebrate, play games, try something new, and simply have a good time. A place that offers flexibility, creativity, and options for different kinds of celebrations and budgets.

​

Building a business from the ground up is definitely a learning experience, but it has also given me the chance to tap into a creative side of myself that I haven’t had much opportunity to explore in many years.

​

My hope is that Poppin Party Works becomes more than a business. I want it to become a place where people feel welcome, make memories, meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, and always have a reason to come together.

​
